Well, I think, this right time think about Technological aspect of the nursing field. It’s been praise worthy changes, which has been changing the nursing service as such.

Today, our hospital all are computerized, so that you don’t need to run to the lab department for getting the emergency lab result. Instead you can get it all, at ur finger tips, at your interconnected PCs, which has connected the entire hospital. So it has changed the broad outlook of the nursing. All the medical records have been converting to electronic records, so that we can mitigate the chance of errors.

We can expect a flawless, sophisticated, digitalized hospital setting that ultimately helps the NURSEs and medical professionals to give quality medical care to the patients.

Thanks to the couple of PC and software companies, that scrambled around for making new hospital application softwares. I think this has revolutionized medical sector, which give them (patients) a new hope and credibility in the medical professionals.

All the lab, x-ray, scanning report can be easily assessed at the patient’s rooms itself by the introduction of the new technology. The modern medical technology has reinvigorated by the arrival of the new palm vein technology, wrist band, eye scanner, etc, which help to restrict the unauthorized entry in a particular Dpt. So the electronic record can be can be assessed by only the respective patients. It helps to keep the privacy of the medi documents.

Yes, we have to prepare for an interview for getting into a hospital. So let us discuss what all are things you have to make sure, before stepping into an interview.

First and foremost, we must create a professional resume, which reflects your persona. And the resume must contain the following documents.

a. ur personal profile
b. achievements
c. nursing licensure details
d. clinical experience
e. key responsibilities

it must be prepared in detail, never hesitate to work on producing a well scripted RESUME. It should also contain at least two references; their addresses, contact number etc. never make any exaggerated details to the resume. If you have any nursing mentor, and we should consult them and make necessary corrections.

In children with a definite history of rheumatic fever, avoiding crowded quarters (where there is increased chances of throat infection), and regularly taking penicillin treatment may prevent further attacks.

Unfortunately, the most serious crippling, and occasionally life-threatening form of arthritis like rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and diffuse collagen diseases including systemic lupus erythematosus are not preventable because their root-cause is in the genes and the genes cannot be changed or removed from the body

Do u ever felt embarrassed for getting the night shifts? Are u scared of night shifts??
Have u ever felt, night duty is a “FU—- King” period?

If yes, then you should read this for getting out of those “F —–king” problem.

If you getting the phone call at 1pm, then you should have to make them understand that it was the same 1 am for u, if he called at 1 pm for us. SO tell the F—– king caller to MIND it!

During the day time if you find it hard to sleep, then you could either put on the fan or plug the ear with cotton ball (FED-up with neighbors).

Make your night FOODING a celebration, I mean you can invite other staff members of the ward to urs and make it a party.

If you are the only person in charge of the department, be careful of the ANTI-INSOMNIAC compulsive disorder( not in any medical dictionary, don’t search anywhere).Especially in the peak hours like 1 am, 2 am , 3 am etc, as these are dragon hours that might succumb u into a deep sleep. And in the mean time, you patients may go into biological death. So cautious. It would be better,if you engage in any activities like checking the vitals etc, if you don’t have anything to do, just walk around through the ward.
And you might not understand the fact that, during the night shifts you could learn more things, both in the practical and theoretical aspects. So dexterous NURSES, slowly but steadily we could learn all the professional skills needed.

For Reading passages, don’t waste time reading, enjoying, and completely understanding the passage. Simply scan the passage to get a rough idea of what it is about. You will return to the passage for each question, so there is no need to memorize it.You probably know that guessing is a good idea on the IELTS- unlike other standardized tests, there is no penalty for getting a wrong answer. Even if you have no idea about a question, you still have a 20-25% chance of getting it right. Most students do not understand the impact that proper guessing can have on their score. Unless you score extremely high, guessing will significantly contribute to your final score.

Wear a watch to the IELTS Test. At the beginning of the test, check the time (or start a chronometer on your watch to count the minutes), and check the time after each passage or every few questions to make sure you are “on schedule.” Remember that on the Listening and Reading Modules you have a little over half a minute for each question. If you can work quickly, you can pace yourself at half a minute per question, which makes it easy to keep track of your time. If you find that you are falling behind time during the test, you must speed up. Even though a rushed answer is more likely to be incorrect, it is better to miss a couple of questions by being rushed, than to completely miss later questions by not having enough time. It is better to end with more time than you need than to run out of time.

If you are forced to speed up, do it efficiently. Usually one or more answer choices can be eliminated without too much difficulty. Above all, don’t panic. Don’t speed up and just begin guessing at random choices. By pacing yourself, and continually monitoring your progress against the clock or your watch, you will always know exactly how far ahead or behind you are with your available time. If you find that you are a few minutes behind on a module, don’t skip questions without spending any time on it, just to catch back up. Spend perhaps a little less than half a minute per question and after a few questions, you will have caught back up more gradually. Once you catch back up, you can continue working each problem at your normal pace. If you have time at the end, go back then and finish the questions that you left behind.

Furthermore, don’t dwell on the problems that you were rushed on. If a problem was taking up too much time and you made a hurried guess, it must have been difficult. The difficult questions are the ones you are most likely to miss anyway, so it isn’t a big loss. If you have time left over, as you review the skipped questions, start at the earliest skipped question, spend at most another half a minute, and then move on to the next skipped question.

Lastly, sometimes it is beneficial to slow down if you are constantly getting ahead of time. You are always more likely to catch a careless mistake by working more slowly than quickly, and among very high-scoring test takers (those who are likely to have lots of time left over), careless errors affect the score more than mastery of material.

Hip fracture is fracture in the long bone of Femur and there are four types of hip fracture. They are 1. Femoral head fracture 2.femoral neck fracture 3. Intertrochantric fracture 4. Subtrochantric fracture.
Femoral neck fracture usually causing cut in the blood supply to the head of the femur and result in avascular necrosis.
Let us see what are the causes of the HIP Fracture>>they are 1.fall (in the case of elderly patients) 2. Weakness of the bone (osteoporosis, Paget’s disease, osteomalacia, osteogenesis imperfecta, osteopetrosis).
Disease can be easily diagnosed by the clinical presentation of pain in the leg, shortened leg, unable to bear the weight etc.
It would be confirmed once we go through the X-rays, MRI scans etc.

Rx – There are two Rx options, either we should go for replace the fractured bone with prosthesis, that is called arthroplasty or we should go for reduction by manipulating and fixing them with metal screws.
